On December 5, Hack the Future: Phoenix brought together community college students, innovators, and policymakers to engage with artificial intelligence and discuss its impacts on Arizona and the country as a whole. The event featured a red-teaming competition, presentations, and thought-provoking discussions led by local industry and academic leaders.
The red-teaming competition leveraged SeedAI’s new red-teaming platform, built in collaboration with AE Studio, designed to help users develop expertise in identifying vulnerabilities in AI systems to improve their safety and reliability.
We were honored to welcome Senator Kyrsten Sinema who delivered encouraging remarks to attendees, emphasizing the transformative power of AI, the need to balance innovation and regulation, and the impacts the technology poses on American economic life.
The event also featured a panel with insights from participants Gavin Klondike, Principal Security Consultant at GlitchSecure, Habib Matar, Lead Professor of AI at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, and Minky Kernacs,CEO at Mercurio Analytics and Chair of the AZ Tech Council AI Ecosystem Committee.
